Process and Plant Modelling Simulation Software
We use a number of different software systems and have developed our own proprietary methods for use with some of these. We consider all modelling tools as structured programmable environments in which we apply our specialised knowledge to achieve the correct result.
Each modelling and simulation software system is the result of the interaction between the people who have developed it and their users.
Some have been used more extensively in particular market sectors and therefore they are richer in capabilities in those sectors.
Some have been developed by small, focussed, disciplined teams, and therefore there is a clarity in vision and consistency throughout the system. Others have been developed by larger teams, and they have been able to draw on that broader range of input to the development process.
Some have big parent companies with large marketing budgets.
We consider them all to be excellent. We have more experience with some over others, and we may argue that one is better for a particular job. But then we also accept that someone else may argue just as convincingly to use something else.
In the end, the best tool has to be one the craftsperson can use well, that will do the job required, and which gives the you an end product that you want. If the model is developed by us, maintained by us, and just generates numbers for a simulator then you may not be too concerned how it is done as long as it works properly. But if we work with you and develop a model you will want to develop with your team, then we will use a tool that suits your organisation.
If you like what we do, but wish we knew the software you use, then lets discuss this.
